By completing the booking process with us, you are agreeing to the following terms of service. Please be sure to read this document carefully and in its entirety.
ARRIVAL TIMES
1: Your photographer will make every effort to arrive promptly at the scheduled appointment time. However, there may be instances when unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic conditions, delays at previous appointments, or other factors, require a brief delay in our arrival.
2: We kindly request a 15 minute grace period from the scheduled appointment time to account for any unexpected delays. This grace period allows us to ensure that we can provide you with the best quality service without rushing.
3: If your photographer anticipates a delay exceeding the 15 minute grace period, they will make every effort to communicate it with us, which in turn, we will notify you as soon as possible.
4: Your understanding and cooperation in providing this grace period are greatly appreciated, as it enables us to deliver the highest quality of service and minimise disruptions to your schedule.
5: Depending on the nature of the delay, you may be entitled to a rebate.
AVAILABILITY & SCHEDULING
1: Shoreline Media Co will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred booking times and dates if provided at time of booking. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of specific time slots due to factors such as prior bookings, drive times, weather conditions, and other scheduling constraints.
2: To increase the likelihood of securing your desired booking time, we recommend contacting our team well in advance of the desired date. Early booking allows for greater flexibility in scheduling.
3: Average booking times may range from season and location. Availability will increase with the expansion of our team.
4: A member of the Shoreline Media Co team will contact you as soon as we have scheduled times for your appointment(s). This process can take up to the day before your appointment depending on prior bookings and drive times.
BOOKING & REQUIREMENTS
1: To book real estate photographer services with Shoreline Media Co, clients are required to provide the following essential information;
1A: The complete address of the property as it appears on a map or GPS. This allows us to accurately locate and schedule the property. (Example; 123 Main Street, Huntsville). You may also include how you would like it to appear in the media, but the mappable address is mandatory (123 Main Street, Otter Lake).
1B: Package/service needed. If you require a Price Guide of our services, please reach out to a member of our team. Please be as specific as possible.
1C: Approximate square footage/acreage. The approximate square footage of the property must be included to be able to schedule accordingly and to determine any additional fees. Please see LARGE PROPERTY FEES for more information.
1D: Any additional buildings or points of interest should be disclosed at the time of booking. Examples may include detached garages, ponds, water access, etc. This information ensures nothing is missed during your scheduled appointment.
2: Shoreline Media Co will use the provided information to schedule and plan the photography session efficiently. Accurate and complete information is essential to deliver high-quality service.
3: It is essential to note that Shoreline Media Co will not reserve a spot or schedule a photography session without the complete address of the property. We understand the importance of client privacy and assure that the provided address will not be disclosed to other agents or third parties. The address is solely used for scheduling purposes. There are no exceptions to this policy.
4: Bookings can be done via text/call the business phone number or email. An online booking service is not currently available but is something we are actively looking into.
CANCELLATIONS
1: Clients may cancel their booking without incurring cancellation fees if the cancellation request is received before 9:00 pm local time on the day before the scheduled appointment
2: Cancellation requests received after 9:00 pm but more than 1 hour before scheduled appointment time will receive a cancellation fee equal to 50% the booked service value.
3: Cancellation requests received within 1.5 hours of the scheduled appointment will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 100% the booked service value.
4: Cancellations due to inclement weather conditions, such as heavy rain, snow, natural disasters, or any other condition that poses significant risk to your photographer or the quality of the service, are not subject to cancellation fees. Light rain, snow, or cloudy skies are not considered inclement weather and will be subject to cancellation fees.
Clients are encouraged to contact a member of our team promptly in case of cancellations
and to reschedule whenever possible.
COMMUNICATION
1: Clients are required to communicate with Shoreline Media Co using the official email address or phone number provided. These contact methods ensure efficient and professional communication between the client and Shoreline Media Co.
2: Clients are strictly prohibited from directly contacting individual photographers or team members working with our team by methods including, but not limited to, phone calls, text, email, or social media accounts. Shoreline Media Co will not provide any contact information of our photographers or team members.
3: For clients with Joel's personal number, please be reminded that his number is to be used for personal matters only and should not be used for booking requests, work-related inquiries, or most matters related to Shoreline Media Co. All work-related communications should be directed through official channels only.
4: This policy is to maintain consistency, ensuring that all client inquiries and requests are properly managed, and to provide a streamlined and professional customer service
experience.

1: All material will be delivered for download via Google Drive links. Clients will receive links to access and download their content through this platform.
2: YouTube streaming links hosted on the Shoreline Media Co Youtube channel will be provided if applicable. These links should be pasted straight into the listing, not the Google Drive link.
3: It is essential to note that downloading and accessing the material is best accomplished using a laptop or PC. Support and assistance is not available for clients attempting to download material via mobile devices.
4: With standard delivery, clients can expect the delivery of their material within 1-2 business days. Any existing delays on editing will be communicated prior to booking. Deliveries past this time may be entitled to compensation.
5: Shoreline Media acknowledges the importance of photographs in the real estate industry, and therefore, may deliver photographs the next day, before any videos have been completed. Please inform our administration team if you require photos delivered beforehand.
6: Certain services such as iGuide, virtual staging, edit-heavy projects, etc, cannot be expedited and are not bound to standard delivery times due to their unique requirements.
7: Rushed services are available on most services, subject to availability.
INVOICES & LATE FEES
1: Invoices are typically sent at the end of the month. However, invoices may be sent at any point after the material has been delivered.
2: Shoreline Media utilizes Square for invoicing clients. Clients will receive and can make payments directly through Square's secure payment platform. E-Transfers can also be directly sent to our official email address. Please include your invoice number in the subject line.
3: Invoices are due immediately upon receipt. It is important to note that prompt payment will not only help maintain a positive working relationship but will also ensure priority booking for future services.
4: Shoreline Media Co may offer payment plan options for clients with invoices above a certain threshold, at its discretion. Clients interested in a payment plan should contact a member of our team to discuss available options.
5: The Square Platform allows you to keep your credit card information saved securely on file to ensure a streamlined payment process. By providing your credit card information, the client authorizes Shoreline Media to charge your card for services rendered, late fees, or other agreed-upon charges on the last day of the month.
6: Late fees for invoices equal to or greater than $1000 are calculated at 20% the total invoice amount, divided by 12 months compounded, and assessed every 30 days until the outstanding balance is cleared.
7: Late fees for invoices less than $1000 are subject to a late fee of $20 every 30 days. In the event the outstanding balance equals or exceeds $1000, it will fall under the above late fee category.
LARGE PROPERTY FEES
1: Properties exceeding 3000 square feet or those that require more than 1.5 hours to complete due to their size or complexity are subject to a minimum Large Property Fee (LPF) of $75. The LPF covers the additional time and resources necessary to effectively capture and process all material.
2: It is imperative that clients accurately state the size of the property at the time of booking (see BOOKING & REQUIREMENTS). If property sizes are not provided, or is incorrectly stated, Shoreline Media Co reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the appointment due to scheduling constraints and commitments to other clients.
3: In cases where an appointment cannot be honoured partially or in its entirety due to inaccurate information, clients may be subject to cancellation fees or travel fees in order to reschedule the appointment. Clients are encouraged to provide accurate property size details during the booking process to avoid any inconveniences.
4: Every effort will be made by a member of our administration team or the photographer to inform the client a LPF may apply, but this is not guaranteed.
MATERIAL STORAGE
1: Edited and deliverable material will be available for download on Google Drive for a period of 30 days from the date of delivery. Clients are encouraged to promptly download and backup their material during this period.
2: Shoreline Media Co will make every effort to maintain storage of the raw files indefinitely. However, we can only guarantee the storage of raw files for a duration of 1 year from the date of the appointment. If you require access to any material beyond 1 year, please contact a member of our team.
3: Clients are responsible for backing up and preserving their material as Shoreline Media Co cannot be held responsible for the loss of material after the specified storage periods have elapsed.
OWNERSHIP RIGHTS
1: All material captured and created by Shoreline Media Co are the exclusive property of Shoreline Media Co, and are protected by copyright. The client does not acquire ownership of any material; this is the case of most creative services. Clients may not resell our material nor may be allow other Realtors access.
2: Clients hiring Shoreline Media Co are paying for its time to shoot and edit the property and are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the material for their own marketing and promotional purposes. Any use of the material beyond this scope is strictly prohibited without the express written consent of Shoreline Media Co.
3: Shoreline Media Co reserves the right to resell the limited use licence to other Realtors at its discretion.
4: Raw files are not available for use or purchase under most circumstances.
5: Photographs & video of communal areas, including but not limited to, parks, towns, condo buildings, condo lobbies/amenities, may be used in multiple property listings by different Realtors, as they are not exclusive to a single property.
TRAVEL FEES & SPLIT LISTINGS-
1: Properties that fall outside of our standard operating area or require more than 1 hour commute outside of one of our major hubs may be subject to a travel fee. Travel fees may vary depending on drive time and services booked. Please see our travel fee chart in our 2024 Price Guide for locations & prices.
2: For properties that are split into multiple sessions, a travel fee may apply.
2A: Properties being photographed in more than one session but during the same billing period will be billed in full plus the travel fee.
2B: Properties being photographed in more than one session across multiple seasons will be billed in two parts; the first half of the package will be billed up front during that billing period, and the second half to be billed upon completion.
3: Shoreline Media Co will make every effort to inform the client of any applicable travel fees at the time of booking, but is not guaranteed.
UNPREPARED LISTINGS
1: Clients are responsible for ensuring that the properties scheduled for photography are prepared and ready for our arrival.
2: Clients should review and send sellers to our "Before We Arrive" checklist provided by Shoreline Media Co to ensure that all necessary requirements and preparations are met for our arrival.
3: If the property is not ready at the scheduled appointment time, the client will be billed at a rate of $25 per 15-minute increment, with the first 15 minutes on us. If the photographer arrives late to the appointment and the property remains unprepared, this grace period will be null and void.
4: Shoreline Media Co reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the appointment if the client has not adequately prepared for the appointment. The client may be subject to cancellation fees or travel fees (see CANCELLATION FEES and TRAVEL FEES).
